Rocket Stereo is Jeralph Cleofe Sanchez
Curiosity killed the cat but inspired the musician. Born in the small town of Dimasalang in Masbate on the 28th of November to a family of musicians and music-lovers, Jeralph Cleofe Sanchez was raised in a home filled with music that drove him to the passion that has set his future. The passion for music, as in most cases, is something that is passed on: Jeralph and his relatives themselves love music. In 2004, driven by pure interest he was introduced to the world of the piano playing by his grandfather at the tender age of ten, showing to him how to play an old Yamaha piano that Jeralph still uses up to this day. Influenced by artists with the likes of Adam Young (the man behind Owl City), Daft Punk, Lights, Imogen Heap, Relient K and A Rocket To The Moon, Jeralph started making his own brand of music in 2010... using nothing more than a magix music maker that he borrowed from a friend and with curiosity as his own fuel to drive his music career. As with the passing of time, his music transforms along with it. Starting out by composing ambient music, he made the big shift of making music with lyrics after realizing that he loves writing songs... giving birth to his current music project of Rocket Stereo. At present he is currently making a new album with a new shift... one that goes a daring step into the world of fast beats and party music. Beyond the world of music, Jeralph Cleofe Sanchez also lets his mind wander in the world of books, including among his favorites the Harry Potter and Twilight series, watching anime and reading comic books that has, in more ways than one, influenced his music. He currently has his eyes set into finishing his course, making more music and moving to other places in the future. WRITTEN BY JHON GORME |
